kidsSince September 2002 the Oromo Story Telling Hour has taken place at the Cultural Centre where the younger children listen to Oromo stories, sitting on a colored soft blanket, dotted with polyester cotton clouds and small pillows in different colors. The older kids who speak Oromiffa already quite well, play a Qubee board game or card games. A small snack is provided and a craft activity rounds up the event. Children learn to listen and speak German in a friendly social setting.
